o/t: it’s #500, and it’s also Todd Mason’s latest Tuesday’s Overlooked Films and/or Other A/V

Yes, this is the 500th post on Noirish. I haven’t counted, but my guess is I’ve covered somewhere in the region of 450 movies here so far. That’s more B-movies (and occasionally A-movies) than a man should allow himself to be subjected to, but, well,  shucks. Since the majority of the movies are very obscure ones, the collection of notes here may very well be unique. Far more often than not, when I log in my entries with IMDB, I discover that I’m the only person who’s done so: there may be other writeups of the relevant movies out there, but IMDB hasn’t registered them.

Heigh-ho.

Here’s the latest edition of Todd Mason’s rightly celebrated Tuesday’s Overlooked Films and/or Other A/V. Click anywhere on the list below and you’ll find yourself either on the Deathstar or at Todd’s Sweet Freedom site, where you’ll have links to the individual essays.

  1. Excellent! Indeed, congratulations, and hope you don’t feel anything like burnout while moving into so much uncharted territory. Honored to have the roundelay be the topic of the 500th post! (Also, additions so far: Paul Brazill film reviews, and Doug Benson on COMEDY FILM NERDS predicting some Oscar wins).

  2. Congratulations! I’m very aware that with the quality and detail you produce in each article this is a massive labour of love. So it is a real testament to your hard work to have clocked up such an impressive number of blogs.
