Whether you’re a fan of film noir, comedy, westerns, or four-hankie weepers, you’re sure to have a favorite that hit the big screen in this great cinematic year.

So tell us all about it in the 1947 Blogathon! Brought to you by Kristina from Speakeasy and Karen from Shadows and Satin, this event will run July 13-15, 2015. You can write about any film, from any genre, as long as it was released between January 1, 1947 and December 31, 1947.

  1. Sounds like a worthy venture for sure! 1947 was a memorable year in film, and I do have a number of favorites including some of those you note here. I’ll have to investigate this blogathon! 🙂

    • Well, it’s Speakeasy’s Kristina and Shadows and Satin’s Karen who’re doing the listing you mention. Looks like it’ll be a fun blogathon. I’m doing Heartaches, which is perhaps the best PRC movie I’ve ever seen. I do realize that’s not saying as much as it might seem, but . . .
