o/t: fiction read during February

Here’s a list of the books I’ve read for leisure this month, with links to my generally fairly scrappy Goodreads notes:

    • I enjoyed Marsh Scales of Justice (it was a reread for me), but with reservations. Moira (of Clothes in Books) had the same reservations as I did, but stronger. Her review is linked from Rich Westwood’s 1955 Roundup page; my Goodreads notes are linked from there but also above.

The3 Collected Stories volume, alas, isn’t much good.

  1. I have read none, and neither are any under my radar, but again this is proof parcel of the quality stuff out there, and how you manage to put on a monthly show unequaled by the overwhelming majority. When your astonishingly prolific writing is factored in, I can only sit back and marvel. What a guy!!!

  2. I recommend Dennis Meredith, his book The Cerulean’s Secret is a great read, he’s witty and his handle on neo-noir is excellent! dennismeredith.com is his site.
